Saturday, June 10 is FREE Fishing Day in the state of Tennessee.

All state residents and visitors of any age have the chance to fish all day without a license. As a part of Free Fishing Day, Discovery Park is hosting a “Fishing Rodeo” where participants have the opportunity to have their prize-winning fish displayed in the aquarium located in Discovery Park’s Regional History Gallery.

All guests with a fishing pole receive free admission to the grounds of Discovery Park on Saturday. From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., participants are to enter at the gate near the Train Depot. After 10 a.m., all guests will need to enter through the main entrance.
